The Met Office has put out a warning of high winds across all the West until 6pm Wednesday, with a ð²ðžð¥ð¥ð¨ð° ð°ðšð«ð§ð¢ð§ð .

More locally Kilmersdon Weather - which so many trust for the specific forecast - has just put out his update:

"Winds will continue to strengthen too with a strong Southerly developing. In the early afternoon clearer conditions will chase the rain away and replace it with sunshine and showers but these could be heavy and thundery with hail in places. The winds will become very gusty too around the showers having veered more towards the SW or West. Temperatures today around 8C falling back somewhat by the end of the day.

This evening and tonight will probably see the worst of the winds across our area as they veer more Westerly and funnel their way up the Bristol Channel towards us. There will be outbreaks of rain and heavy showers too with the chance of hail and thunder almost anywhere. Gusts of wind could reach 50-60mph over the hills so care will be needed when travelling on the roads. "
