Midsomer Norton roadworks for week commencing October 21

There will be temporary traffic lights on the A362 through Welton next week to enable Virgin Media to do some work on a new service.

From Monday October 21, there will be temporary traffic lights along the A362 from the roundabout at North Road down to the junction with Welton Vale, for a week.

Other roadworks in Midsomer Norton next week include:

From Monday until Friday October 25, drainage works will be taking place on the B3355 Northmead Road, just north of the river bridge.

On Monday, kerbing work is due to take place in Furlong Close, and ironwork repair work is scheduled in Spencer Drive.

Patching work is scheduled on Tuesday October 22 in Sunnymead and Steam Mills.

From Tuesday until Thursday October 24, BT is planning work to replace a jointbox frame and cover in Valley Walk.

Riverside Gardens and Staddlestones are scheduled to be re-opened after surfacing works on Monday.

Virgin Media's works in Hillside Road should be completed on Monday, while their works in Hillside Avenue should conclude the day afterwards.

The works by Bristol Water in Millfield are scheduled to be completed on Monday, and in Hayes Park Road on Tuesday.

Finally, Western Power Distribution's work in Beaufort Avenue is scheduled to be finished on Tuesday.
