Bath and North East Somerset planners have been told that an application to build a barn and trackway at Lower North End Farm in Clutton has been withdrawn.

In other planning news for the area in and around Midsomer Norton :

An application for a change of use for the barns into three homes at Elm Grove Farm, Lower Road, Hinton Blewett, has been approved.

They have also approved an application by Pack Horse Farm on the Old Midford Road in Bath to build an extension to the existing all weather outdoor arena.

Two conditions involved in the conversion of an existing agricultural barn into single residential dwelling at Poole Farm, Sunnymead Lane, Bishop Sutton, have been discharged.

And an application to build four holiday cabins at the top eatery, the Pony & Trap on Moorledge Road in Chew Magna has been refused. The restaurant has a Michelin star which it has held for the past eight years. It is not yet clear if the pub, which regularly attracts celebrity diners, will re apply.
