Workmen were again at Midsomer Norton's Town Park today (January 13) planting up some of the beds ready for the summer.
The beds at the entrance of the park have plants which have been specially selected to be part of what will become a small sensory garden, so specifically for how they look and smell.
The garden space has been sponsored by the local Lions Club.
While it cannot be used under lockdown, the amphitheatre, which has space for 300, created with Purbeck limestone boulders, was completed back in August 2020.
Owned by the Town Council the Town Park space is now being managed by the Town Trust and covers around eight acres of parkland.
Workers at the site today told Nub News that they expect to complete the planting of the beds within the next day or two.
