It may have only been open for just shy of a month, but already the new Butcher's shop in White Ox Mead, near Peasedown St John, has seen plenty of customers through its door and been showered with praise.

The family-run Butcher's, located on a former dairy farm, supplies meat reared and butchered on site, as well as from other local suppliers. "We are trying to keep everything as local as possible", explains Graham, Somer Valley Butchers Manager.

So far, the new business has served customers from all over the local area, who are thrilled to have a local Butcher once again.

One happy customer on Trustpilot said: "looking forward to seeing how this venue grows and expands, and will definitely be back. So lovely to have a great local butcher!"

Another raved: "Great flavour and reasonable prices for such good quality".

On Facebook the positivity continues; "We'll be supporting this butchers for all of our meat from now on, keep it up!" adds yet another customer.
