Dedicated local dancers have raised £300 for Cancer Research UK at a special dance workshop on Saturday 21 October.

Organiser and lead line dancer Mandy Eades wanted to thank all those who came alone, especially two line dancers who stood in for her at the last minute because she was poorly.

She said: " Sorry I couldn't be with you all but I am much better now. Kirstie and Our Sue were amazing stepping in for ME at the last minute, thank you both. Thanks also go to those who helped out on the day and everyone else who attended. "

The money was raised by the dancing, and auction, a raffle and a bingo.

Guest Choreographer was Vikki Morris who taught four wonderful dances. Mandy added : "Thank you for your hard work choreographing, teaching and dancing them."

Donations are still welcome HERE
