A new taste, with a special recipe from the USA, at Radstock cafe

By Susie Watkins 7th Feb 2020

It is a best-kept secret.

Recipes handed over the Atlantic from a leading cook to a cake maker in Radstock.

Customers at the Number 10 cafe on Fortescue Road are going to be challenged in the coming months to some original flavour combinations.

This week it was the Love It or Hate It Marmite cake, then it was the The Chocolate Brownie Rocky Road Cake.

The recipes come from Great Gadsby Bakery team in Arizona in the USA, who have featured on the American television news service ABC news for their special recipes.

Those are then delivered, under code, to the cake creator (and her sister) at Number 10.

The cafe likes to offer customers something a little different, so watch this space.

Number 10 cafe is at 10 Fortescue Road, with owner Paul Antoni Dando is making things a little different. He said: "I pride myself on my coffee as its not cheap to buy. It comes from the Amazon Peruvian Rainforest and my supplier is the only company that can purchase this blend from the indigenous tribes, giving them prosperity. A bit like the Fair trade brands."

The No.10 cafe is at 10 Fortescue Road open 9.15- 4.30 pm week days, and 9.15-3 pm Saturdays, closed on Sundays.
