An announcement from We Hear You

25th July 2022

From 1st August 2022 until 5th September 2022, We Hear You (WHY) will not be taking referrals for our one-to-one counselling services.

Referrals for our free counselling service have significantly increased over the past six months and we currently do not have adequate resource to meet this demand. This is the first time we have ever taken this action, but the wellbeing of our current clients and our staff team is very important to us. To continue to provide a safe and high quality service, we have made the decision to pause referrals for our one-to-one counselling for this period of five weeks. We will continue to accept referrals for our groups and courses, such as our mindfulness and nature connection courses and WHYgrow, our monthly therapeutic gardening group.

Our phone lines will remain open and we will continue to provide advice and signpost to alternative services. This will not affect anyone who is currently on our waiting list or in counselling. Our website also provides details of other services that may be useful for anyone looking to access support

If you have any enquiries regarding this, please contact the We Hear You office on 01373 455255 or email [email protected].
