Last week was anti-bullying week and theme was 'Untied Against Bullying'. All children at Midsomer Norton Primary School were encouraged to come to school in odd socks on Monday 16th of November to show their support for this very important week.

All classes participated in a range of activities from the reception classes making a friendship pie, to discussing scenarios about bullying in Years 5 & 6.

The children all had lessons to understand what bullying is, what they can do to help if someone is being bullied or how they can get help if they think they are being bullied. The children thought of ways to stop bullying from happening and decided what they could do to show they are united against bullying.

All the children at Midsomer Norton Primary regularly discuss bullying in their classes throughout the year, but the purpose of this week was to raise the profile even more.
