Carol Curtis, a volunteer driver with Swan Transport based in Radstock, organised a fashion show hosted by M&Co in Midsomer Norton to raise funds for the charity.

The event took place in the store recently and it raised just over £430. The event would not have been possible without the 18 volunteers from the local area who modelled on the night showcasing M&Co's clothes to the delight of the audience.

The Swan chairman was modelling the men's range on the night. All eyes were on Chris being the only man in modelling team.

Suzie, the M&Co compere, and store staff made everyone feel very welcome and even made tea for the drivers which was much appreciated. They had transported people to the show and couldn't enjoy a glass of wine.

A fantastic raffle added extra to the event and gifts were donated from a number of Radstock and Midsomer Norton shops and individuals.

Swan's thanks go to Bike It, Hair Razor, McColl's, Bath Dancewear, No 10 Café, Headlines, Jacarandas, Wetherspoons, Keith Ingram Shoes, Essence Café, Oils and Coils, Pure Beauty, Midsomer Norton DIY, Rose Craft and a number of individuals.

Sarah Oughton, Swan's volunteer transport co-ordinator, said: "We would like to thank all the people who supported us on the night, Carol and all those who gave their time to made the event a great success."
