Four days of roadworks are scheduled to start in Charlton Road, Midsomer Norton, on Monday (September 2).

Temporary traffic lights will be in place from Monday through to Thursday inclusive, to enable Wales and West Utilities to lay a new service.

The work is taking place between the junction of the A367 and the junction with Charlton Park, with seven metres of the new utilities being for public services, and eight metres for private use.

Delays could be caused, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday, as students return to Norton Hill School, further along Charlton Road, on Wednesday.
