Clever local pupil Casper showed he add what it took to be creative, becoming the winner of the recent Christmas Card competition hosted by Midsomer Norton based Kip McGrath.

This is his winning design.

It will be made into a professional printed card AND the youngster won a £50 Amazon voucher.

He can count on that - and as you can see the card is a pretty impressive ready reckoner calculator too.

Local tutoring and education centre Kip McGrath Midsomer Norton ran the competition in part because of the director's love of Christmas cards.

Centre director Sarah Richards said : " I love Christmas cards ... I love sending and receiving them. We do so much communication electronically now, so when someone takes the trouble to think about a message and write a card by hand, it's a true expression of their friendship and thoughtfulness."
