Countdown to Christmas : Local butchers are taking orders now

They have been going since 1913, so they know a thing a bit about customer service and being ready.

So that's why the Westfield butchers Mitchards are taking orders now for Christmas. And it looks like locals are taking the be-early message to heart with orders already coming in.

On offer traditional free range turkey, chicken, or they can also provide goose or duck. The three generations of owners also have other meats on offer, of course, in addition to home cured gammon and ham.

Nub News first visited the butchers in April when they told us that coronavirus had closed them up like no war had ever been able to.
