Another reminder that this weekend is Volunteers Weekend up at the Midsomer Norton railway.

The Somerset and Dorset Railway Heritage Trust relies completely on volunteer help as they have no paid staff at the railway.

The friendly team said: " We have many vacancies available across the railway and you could join any of our departments such as our gardening team, engineering team, operations team, track gang, retail team and the signalling team.

"We look forward to welcoming any new volunteers with open arms."

Turn up at 10.30 or at 2pm on either Saturday or Sunday to get a look around and chat to other volunteers or you can email [email protected] if you want to know more
