Midsomer Norton Farmers Market is back this Saturday 7th August 9am-1pm.
The local charity, Root Connections, have had what organisers refer to as a "challenging growing season" but will be there with a bountiful offering including tomatoes, salads and stunning flowers.
All produce is grown using organic principles in Stratton on the Fosses on a community garden which benefits Mendips homeless and also provides enjoyable volunteering opportunities for the community. For more details of what they do click HERE :There will also be two new stalls at the market, held on the gardens at The Hollies.
One, Cesar, a coffee roaster who imports green beans from his native Columbia and roasts them to create the best coffee we have tasted. He will have bags of coffee to buy plus hot drinks on the day.
Demilles Botanicals will be bringing plant based soaps - Tina's vegan and organically sourced soap is made using traditional methods in her soap kitchen, while there will also be live music, from the singer Dennis Demille.
Somerset Farmers Market is on until 1pm.
