11th Oct 2022 | Local News

Midsomer Norton woke up to the first frosts today (October 11) with local air temperatures in the village down to -1C.

But at ground level it has been lower. According to the hyper-local forecaster Kilmersdon Weather grass temperatures reached -2C or more.

This follows a dry night under clear and moonlit skies with no wind. For those who remarked on the full moon, it was in a Waning Gibbous Phase and will over the coming days become less exposed.

You can find out more about the local weather by following the forecaster HERE

Tonight the temperatures are not forecast to be so low, and there is a forecast for some showers later in the week.
