In what was described as a " unique and versatile building" - a former restaurant at the top of Midsomer Norton High Street has been sold.

It was once the site of a South American restaurant, but has been unoccupied for over a year.

The property, which includes two flats over the restaurant was being marketed by Cooper & Tanner.

The restaurant could be let separately, with a rent suggested of £15,000 per annum. It was previously a Brazilian BBQ venue and has a patio alfresco dining area to the front.

Number 55 Midsomer Norton High Street is also listed on some directories as the Coco Lounge.

Nub News has asked Cooper & Tanner if they can tell us anything about who or which company has bought the property. When it was previously being marketed Bath agent Derek Walker it was priced at £465,000 but on the most recent marketing the price was set at £395,000.00
