The local gritting teams will be out tonight (January 5).

B&NES Highways and transport has just announced a full gritting schedule which will prioritise A and B roads in the Somer Valley.

According to the Met Office, the temperatures tonight are due to fall to minus 4 in and around Midsomer. The forecast is for it to remain dry with prolonged clear spells developing.
