Are you still looking for something spook-tacular for the table for Hallowe'en?

Well these 'pumpkins' are not quite what they seem.

A local delicacy, on offer from the Somer Valley, they were created a few years ago and have proved such a hit for Hallowe'en they come back to haunt the butchers every year, and every year they sell out !

Local butchers Somer Valley Farms invented their very own Chicken Pumpkin. Yes, you read that right. It's a chicken leg filled with chorizo style stuffing glazed in Argentine Fire, shaped like a pumpkin.

Wow - just look at them close up

Sure to be a hit with the kids and adults alike, the pumpkin style centrepiece was created by Master Butcher Graham Marshall, who has 37 years' experience in his trade. "It's just a little something I knocked up a years ago and still proves popular", he explained.

If you fancy a Chicken Pumpkin yourself this Halloween, pop over to the Butcher's shop at Knoll Farm, Peasedown St John.
