She has been renamed Houdini by the locals who are now very used to seeing her out on her regular escapes to take a little trot around the houses.

Today (January 17) this little lady was discovered near Ham Lane (yes indeed) in Paulton.

She lives near the cricket club, but today, and for many days in the past, she has taken to going for a wander. Maybe it is a pig thing? Certainly she seemed to be happy enough on her travels.

And it is no wonder.

Local Alex Adams was just one of the people who stopped when he spotted the porker. Because it was around breakfast time, he treated her to a slap up meal while the owner was located.

He told social media she enjoyed : " A nice breakfast of apple, carrot and some horse food."

Her owner was quickly located, because this pig does have previous, and she is now safely back at home.
