IN PICTURES : At the old school gates in Radstock

The former infants school in Radstock, shut the gates in 2005.

The site off the Old Bath Road is now being cleared as the Radstock County Infant School as it is formally known makes way for fifteen homes.

But before any building work can begin, there is the job of clearing away trees and shrubs and taking down the former classrooms. Hawkfield Homes (West) are developing the site, with their plans under 23/00175/COND on the B&NES planning site.

Radstock Primary School was replaced by Trinity Primary School in Woodborough Lane.
