It was a special year for the Midsomer Norton carnival - marking its 75th anniversary since the very first carnival back in 1948. There was also a (sad) time with no town carnival in 1960 and it is fair to say that the return has not always been a big success.

However this year, even with the downpours, it was a joyful occasion when over 90 groups, carts and floats took to the Midsomer Norton roads on November 13.

Carnival organisers said they were thrilled with the support and enthusiasm from the crowds, thanking everyone for all their support. Midsomer Norton & District Carnival  added to help bring this dream closer we need more people to help, if you or anyone else can help then please get it contact with us, any help is appreciated from just a few hours or as much as you are able to give and you don't need any skills.
