It is a big week for parties locally but one of the biggest is right royal event up at the heritage station.

Not just rail enthusiasts but anyone who loves a train will be thrilled that on 4th June, there will be free train rides at the station in Midsomer Norton.

The team have been going full steam ahead installing party benches so you can bring your own picnic or buy from local food stalls. There will also be a real ale and cider festival in the sidings... not to mention a special crown hunt across the station for the kids.

No need to book, just turn up and enjoy the fun.

They are also running a DMU on the 3rd June and a steam train on the Sunday 5th June, and offering all day Rover tickets for these additional days. Full details are on our website HERE :
