The local litter pickers, aka The Wombles are on a huge positive high, with support from local businesses and a big congratulations from the local policing team.

The group, which team up to clear up areas around Radstock, Westfield and Midsomer, now have an additional ten litter grabs thanks to Simon Hughes of Fosseway Tree Services.

The Wombles thanked him for : " A kind and generous gesture that means we now have 20 of our own to loan out. " They have even more arriving soon donated by other local businesses.

Meantime the local police community has thanked them for: " All their amazing work in litter picking across our community. As a PCSO who walks the beat daily I can't help but notice the glowing difference since their arrival a month ago. "
