Somerset Studio School is opening it's doors to the public for an Open Morning. With the incredible Engineering and Science facilities they are proud to showcase all they have to offer the young people in the local area,

Somerset Studio School is a Science and Technology school in Radstock and we offer these specialist subjects to young people aged 14 to 19 years. Although they have not been around for long they are lucky to benefit from industry-standard equipment and friendly staff who have previous industry experience.

In years 10 and 11, they still offer the basics in English, maths, as well as specialisms in chemistry, physics and biology. As well as offering Engineering, Digital Information Technology and Enterprise. In years 12 and 13, we have three T Level offers, each equivalent to three A Levels and progression routes, at ages 18 or 19, to University, Higher Apprenticeships and employment - all this whilst young people have regular work experience, putting their high level skills, understanding and knowledge directly into practice in the workplace.

This is a different school, filled with students and staff who want a different experience - one that takes a personal interest, is built on positive relationships and leads to success, including achieving great outcomes, whilst being safe, happy and valued.

Somerset Studio School is looking forward to welcoming the local community through the doors for their open morning on Saturday 20th January 2024, from 10am-12pm. With work showcases, tours and fantastic catering kindly provided by Parsons Frome- it will be a fantastic morning.
