One of the aspects of Christmas that many people love is tradition. And at Thatcher + Hallam the team have their own Christmas tradition, which is to organise a collection of food for animals in need. The annual pet food collection takes place in the weeks leading up to Christmas and culminates in a sizeable donation being made to charity each year.

This year the team have been collecting for a scheme set up by local charity Search and Scan, who are putting together shoe boxes of pet gifts that can be given to the homeless, rescue animals and any other pets in need.

Julia Williams of Thatcher + Hallam has coordinated the collection and said, "We support a charity of the year all year round, but we always like to do something a little extra at Christmas. The team have once again been really generous and it means we've been able to deliver a boot load of goodies to Search and Scan, which we know will be put to really good use.†

Search and Scan are a group of volunteers who work hard to help reunite lost and found pets, using a variety of techniques and equipment. The charity covers areas of Somerset and Wiltshire. You can find out more about their work HERE Including how you can help.
