By Susie Watkins

7th Dec 2020 | Local News

As was previously announced by the council, all school children who are eligible for free school meals can now apply for a food voucher for the Christmas holidays.

If your children get free meals because of benefits you receive, then you can request a £40 food voucher from B&NES Council for the Christmas period.

You will need to provide the Council with an email address and your National Insurance number and they will send you a voucher link by email.

The vouchers can be used at Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons.

You can read how the system works by clicking HERE : the letter from B&NES

The portal is now open for you to apply. You can get the link via the letter.

Alternatively telephone 01225 477777 and press option 4.
