Midsomer Norton's carnival is celebrating its 75th anniversary - the very first carnival was held way back in 1948.

According to the just-published programme it is set to be a special year too with 96 entries.

The carnival will be on Monday November 13 - starting in Charlton Road at 7.30pm and then down Silver Street and Midsomer Norton High Street, finishing at Midsomer Norton Enterprise Park on Radstock Road at 10pm. Closures for the procession route will begin from 5:30pm.
