The RUH wants YOUR help
The RUH wants YOUR help

The Royal United Hospital in Bath - Midsomer Norton's nearest major health facility - is looking for some help with the appointment of some new governors.

They want people to join the Council of Governors - the Trust recently launched its new vision and goals for the RUH, which will help shape the future of healthcare in the region, and later this year will be launching a new Trust strategy setting out the ambitions and direction of the RUH.

As a Public Governor you will:

  • Be the voice of your community
  • Build your knowledge of the RUH
  • Help make the RUH a place where everyone knows they matter

Individuals do not need any specific knowledge or skills to become a Governor, just enthusiasm, a willingness to ask questions, be open to ideas, and a desire to make a difference by getting involved in your local hospital. Successfully elected candidates will receive a bespoke induction session alongside ongoing training and support throughout their term.

The Nominations to put yourself forward are open until 5pm on Friday 28 July 2023. To visit the election website please CLICK HERE.

To find out more about the role please CLICK HERE, or contact the Membership office on 01225 826288 / 821262 or via email at [email protected].
