If you spot an overflowing bin, please don't place rubbish around it, say B&NES.

They have a new campaign warning residents that this is simply more littering.

They say please report an overflowing bin on https://bea.bathnes.gov.uk/report-full-litter-bin…

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Location

It's also helpful if you can provide the four digit LBXXXX number found on the bin.

That all said they do add that you may not expect things to be sorted immediately : " We aim to respond to your report within 4 days."
