As a return to more normal begins, Midsomer Norton Nub News is publishing the latest school dates.

Midsomer Norton has two major secondary schools, Norton Hill and Somervale, which is a specialist Arts College, which are both part of the the Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership which was founded in 2009.

Also part of that partnership:

Longvernal Primary School

Midsomer Norton Primary School

The newly-opened Norton Hill Primary School

St. John's C of E Primary School

The partnership also runs other primary schools in Welton, Westfield Radstock and Timsbury.

Here we publish the Partnership term dates for schools for the rest of the 2022 academic year (although the schools have said this may vary if coronavirus rates impact school attendances or staffing numbers, when lessons may go back to being on-line)

It is important to remember that academy, voluntary aided and foundation schools may have different school term and holiday dates.

At the same time, schools may have different staff training (INSET) days – so you should check with your school when these days will take place during term time.

Starting 2022 : Term 3

January 4 to February 18

Term 4

February 28 - April 8

Term 5

April 25 - May 27

Term 6

June 6 - July 21

The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership as an Academy Trust is required by law to publish executive pay for staff. You can read that and other documents by clicking HERE : published in mid December it shows one member of staff earned between £160,000 and £170,000 in 2021
