It is one big name coming into Midsomer Norton.

Poundland, with a distinctive blue, is taking shape in the former M&Co building on the High Street next door to Lidl.

Work there began on October 2 in converting the shop, and it was scheduled to take just six weeks.

That said, it appears from the photo that the roof has had to be replaced, so hopes it may be open in time for the Midsomer Norton carnival in middle of November, may be a little optimistic.
