Next week it is National Allotments Week the annual celebration of allotments and their diggers across the UK.

The theme for 2021 is Plotting for the Future, with campaigners celebrating the contribution that allotments make to a sustainability.

Sadly it is too late to enter any of this year's national competitions with a virtual show, due to coronavirus, but the national association it is happy to promote allotments across the UK.

The NAS aims to protect, promote and preserve allotments and can also advise on registering allotment associations as an Asset of Community Value.
