A well-being course in the Midsomer Park is already proving hugely popular

By Susie Watkins 21st Feb 2021

There are now only two spaces left for a new activity and mindfulness course starting every Monday in March.

The new venture is being held in the Town Park in Midsomer, but the appetite for some mental and physical support during coronavirus is such that according to the organisers, a not for profit company called Eco Wild, the free activity is nearly booked out.

The company is offering ten minutes of well-being activity twice a day on every Monday in March.

The course is described as supporting : " Your physical and mental health through nourishing practices in nature. A simple and accessible way to feel good, recover from the effects of the pandemic, and feel restored.

"The morning will involve active practice such as a walk, gentle stretching, and also a mindful practice. There will be opportunity for discussion and reflection.

"The afternoon will be for creative practice, including natural art and craft. Or you can take a guided wildlife and foraging walk to learn more about the plants, trees and animals in the area. "

You can find out more about the course and other ones that they are hosting, and perhaps if you are in luck, snap up one of the two remaining spaces by clicking HERE : the Eco Wild site
