This was the price today (August 10) in Westfield, with the falls in prices at the pumps failing to keep pace with the drop in wholesale prices.

So Midsomer motorists are being tipped to head off to Paulton to fill up.

Nub News understands that if you are looking for "cheap" petrol the Murco in Paulton is selling it at £165.9.

In Frome the cheapest price was in Asda, with the Sainsbury's pumps selling Unleaded at £176 yesterday (August 9).

So it does seem well worth shopping around.

The RAC has a regularly updated page on how prices have been falling HERE. While they reported that wholesale prices of fuel fell 20p in July, that has not generally been passed on at the pumps, where price falls have average just 9p a litre.
