Planning news in and around Radstock this week

You don't read about this very often but an application is in to put in a new post box in Clandown. It will be for what is called a Pedestal Lamp Box and will be sited on Fosse Green.

In the application they say : "Please be advised that Highways will be contacted by Royal Mail Engineering Contractors prior to undertaking any work. Should you have any questions or need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us quoting reference WO No. 3854948. "

The homeowners of 5 Stoneable Road, in Radstock have put in an application for an extension over the existing rear extension. Details under 23/01870/FUL

Over in Peasedown, the homeowners of 101 Under Knoll have put in an application for a new roof window to front elevation and a rear loft conversion.

And in Mill Lane, Timsbury, they have put in an application for change of use on a parcel of land from Agricultural to Equestrian, with three stables, a tack room, and a hay barn. Details under 23/01749/FUL

Planning decisions made this week include:

The homeowners of 27 Under Knoll, Peasedown St John, can go ahead with an extension following the demolition of a conservatory at the property.

At 4 Winterfield Park, Paulton, they have been permitted to go ahead with an extension, following the demolition of existing conservatory/sun lounge and porch.
