Over in Chewton Mendip Conversion of the currently vacant Old Social Club & Skittle Alley into a co-working hub and a re-invigorated community space for local people has been approved.

In Holcombe the building of a single storey granny-annexe style bungalow following demolition of existing swimming pool and decking at Southwood on Common Lane Holcombe Radstock, has been approved.

And in Norton St Philip the building of a single detached dwelling within a paddock, demolition of church and the erection of a terrace of four houses as amended by revised drawings received on the 11 May 2022 has been approved. The church, the Church Of Our Lady Bell Hill was the former Roman Catholic Church, and only built in 1961 but the paddock has been an enclosed area for over 300 years. The application was originally made in February 2021, when plans stated that the site, was in a secluded location contained within the heart of the village, lying inside the boundary of the Conservation Area and existing development limit.
