To get involved in local decisions and hear about plans for the town, everyone is welcome at the annual meeting.
The date is set for May 11, and one of the key debates is bound to be the number of houses being proposed in and around Radstock.
IN case you missed it the outline planning application for the erection of up to 255 dwellings (including 30% affordable housing) with public open space up at Writhlington has been refused.
The decision to turn down the application put in by Gladman developments was that the site, off Orchid Way , is in open countryside and the proposed development would be located outside any Housing Development Boundary or Development Limits contrary to the Development Plan for Bath and North East Somerset.

Additionally planners said: "The extent and quality of facilities and amenities and the level of employment opportunities available locally would not limit the need of future residents to travel by private car or deliver a well-connected development which is genuinely accessible by sustainable means of transport. The proposed development thereby undermines the Councils' sustainable transport ambitions and Bath and North East Somerset's climate emergency targets."
The border-site would have seen approximately 220 dwellings in B&NES and 35 dwellings in Mendip who also opposed the plans saying they would have a detrimental impact on the landscape and also put unsustainable numbers of cars onto the A362, particularly at commuting times.
A total of 76 letters objecting to the plans were sent to B&NES including from CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) and the Writhlington Action Group.
But this application (21/04509/OUT) was the second time that the green field site at the top of Radstock had been the focus of planning proposals and it is not known if the developer is to appeal.
