Radstock wins GOLD in the RHS Britian in Bloom Competition.
We are extremely proud of the result, in the Champions of Champions category we here up against the very best towns and villages in the Southwest.
We would like to thank everyone that supports Radstock in Bloom as its your support that drive us to first and foremost make Radstock Bloom. Our Traders Sponsor their Hanging Baskets, Our Town Council provide us with funding which in turn has allowed us to buy more environmentally friendly Hanging baskets and Planter allowing us to reduce the cost of the Baskets to our traders.
Our wonderful Community groups, Schools and Allotment holders support our entry into the RHS competition.
Haydon Community Gardens, Writhlington Allotments, Writhlington School's Orchid Project and our wonderful Radstock Knitters.
St Mary's School and St. Nicholas Church School both entered the RHS Southwest in Bloom Art Competition and two students from those schools have both won awards.
Our IYN or In Your Neighbourhood entries of which this year we had thirteen entries have all won RHS Awards.
We look forward to our own Bloom Presentation where we will present the awards to all on the 20th of October.
We also look forward to flying our new RHS 2023 Gold winners Flag in our town.
