Jacob Rees Mogg MP writes:

The heart of being a Member of Parliament is being in the constituency engaging with constituents, whether it is at surgeries, local events or visiting charities and businesses.

Last Friday, I had the honour of opening the new offices in Keynsham of the successful local franchise of Bluebird Care. Bluebird Care specialises in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes, from check-in visits to full live-in support.

Currently, over one hundred people work for Bluebird Care in this part of Somerset, offering bespoke care for people so that they can remain at home. This is so important for those who are ill and vulnerable or are entering the last phase of their life as they can feel safe within the familiarity of their own homes and can lessen the distress of those who visit them.

Bluebird Care ensures that it delivers the standard of care that it would be happy for its own family members to receive. Above all, it seeks to support customers in maintaining their independence and lifestyle by providing expert homecare thus promoting a sense of dignity that often proves invaluable during challenging times.

It is clear that Bluebird Care does wonderful work to help people and now it has excellent offices in Keynsham to do it from, which will undoubtedly benefit the local community. As we all get older, as well as seeing some family members and friends deteriorating from complicated, ravaging diseases and illnesses, it is a comfort to know that Bluebird Care is there with its compassion, wisdom and expertise.
