Along with the long-lasting road closures on Silver Street for the development work, commuters today (Monday February 3) will also have another local headache.

There will be a closure on Langleys Lane in Ston Easton for excavation works on behalf of Bristol Water.

Those are expected to be in force for the next thirty days until March 13.

There will a diversion in force.

If you get as far as Farrington Gurney there will also be delays from today until Wednesday due to work on behalf of BT along the A362 Main Street, in Farrington Gurney.

Don't forget there are on going works around Gullock Tyning in Midsomer Norton itself. There will be disruption of Gullock Tyning and Ham Gardens outside Somer Court between Rackvernal Road and St Chad Surgery and the Somer Centre, again until March due to putting in a new Bristol Water connection and WPD electrical connections undertaken by MAC groundworks for new MSN project. That is expected to be completed by March 6.
