The Radstock community is being urged to join a campaign to save the local Methodist Church for community use.
There will be an open session next Wednesday (March 9) at the Trinity building to bring the issue to the wider community and help.
On the 2nd April the Church network will be making the confirmed decision whether to sell or not.

the Nub News site There is also an online petition has been set up HERE:Trinity Methodist Church Radstock has been a part of the community since it was built in 1902. The Church was built with the support of the mining community and previously used as a school.
More recently the building has provided a welcome to many community groups and charities as well as volunteers running coffee mornings. The Church held its last service on Sunday 30 January 2022.
Radstock Town Council have been working with the church to understand the options for the future of the building. The current decision by the church is that the building will be put onto the open market for sale to the highest bidder.
Radstock Town Council added: " We would like the church to understand the need and the impact losing the building will have on our community and town, so we ask you to sign this petition in support of our plans. "We want the building to remain as a centre for community use and sustain the town centre for future generations to come. "
