Do you know a local teacher who goes the extra mile to make those they teach believe and achieve ?

Then this local competition is a perfect way to get them a big round of applause - and a special gift, for you AND that teacher.

The question which needs answering is : Is your teacher awesome?

Tell Kip McGrath why and you could win a prize for you AND one for your teacher.

Kip McGrath Midsomer Norton is giving away a £50 voucher to the child who gives the best explanation about why their teacher is awesome. The winning teacher and school will also receive prizes, as well as the coveted title of "Awesome Teacher of the Year 2024".

The competition is open to anyone from Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Shepton Mallet and the surrounding areas, between the ages of 6 – 16.

Midsomer Norton Centre Director Sarah said: "Having taught in local schools for over 15 years I know that there are loads of awesome teachers out there.

"I can't wait to read through all the entries and to see the imaginative descriptions students give about their awesome teachers.

Nominate your class teacher or tutor or even your head teacher

"You can nominate your class teacher, tutor, subject teacher or even your head teacher – they just need to be awesome for some reason!"

Kip McGrath Midsomer Norton provide after-school tuition for students between the ages of 6 – 16, who are looking for extra support or extension in English and maths.

Each student is given a FREE educational assessment and the results are discussed confidentially with parents. If tutoring would help, an individual learning programme is designed around the child's requirements.

Students attend the centre weekly for their 60 minute session taught and supported by qualified and experienced teachers.

To enter the competition, go to the Kip McGrath Midsomer Norton Facebook page, HERE or pick up an Entry Form from the centre on Midsomer Norton High Street.

All entries must be received by midnight 14th March 2024.

To book a FREE assessment call Sarah on 07969 568921, or visit kipmcgrath.co.uk/midsomer-norton
