Glastonbury Festival prices are going up.

The Festival announced yesterday (October 17) that the 2023 price will be £335, plus a £5 booking fee.

The Festival returned in 2022 with tickets from 2020 being valid at the same price, but now organiser Emily Eavis said they had no choice but to increase the sale price to combat rising costs.

She  said: "We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket, but we're facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, whilst still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of COVID.

"In these incredibly challenging times, we want to continue to bring you the best show in the world and provide our charities with funds which are more vital than ever."

In 2022, a ticket for the most famous music festival in the world cost £280.

Tickets for the Festival go on sale on Thursday 3 November 2022 at 6pm (GMT) for coach tickets and Sunday 6 November 2022 at 9am (GMT) for general sale tickets. But you must pre register - that closes at five pm on October 31.
