There has been widespread localised damage in and around Radstock due to Storm Eunice, including a report that the metal nurse on the roundabout in town has been blown over.

There have been reports on social media of branches and fences down, and roof tiles off, as the storm passed over this morning.

For commuters it continues to be a real headache with just before noon today BOTH Severn bridges closed to traffic, in what is believed to be the first time ever.

Other roads closed include two over into North Somerset due to fallen trees. ï¸B3134 Burrington Combe

ï¸Brockley Combe Road. Travel Somerset is reporting a total of 33 trees down on the highways and two collapsed walls. To report an obstruction, please call 0300 123 2224. In Bath itself the parks team is currently (12:00 ) clearing a tree that has fallen in Charlotte Street car park.
