Superstars on their way to and from Glastonbury - now Coldplay show a warm romantic side in local pub

So Sir Paul McCartney wowed them at the Cheese & Grain in Frome on his WAY to Glastonbury.

Just a few hundred in the crowd enjoyed the hour and a half long set for just £25. So a bargain at a pound a song.

Now video has emerged of an even more intimate gig with Chris Martin of Coldplay hitting the ivories, for free in a local pub following his trip BACK from the festival.

He played a little snippet of one of his songs for a delighted couple who are using Coldplay's A Sky Full of Stars for their upcoming wedding.

Chris put on the charm at the the Stag Inn, in Hinton Charterhouse just a little way on from Wellow.

The landlord posted the video saying : "You never know who might pop in for a pint! What a lovely man he is."

In 2016, Coldplay became the first-ever band to headline Glastonbury Festival four times but the band were not in the year's line up.

He was there with girlfriend, possibly fiancée Dakota Johnson, who has already visited the area. She was at the stately home in Ammerdown to shoot Persuasion in June 2021 along with co-star Henry Golding.

Out on Netflix shortly the 32 year old star as Anne Elliot, in the novel, generally regarded amongst Austen's best and saddest.

Due out July 15, Anne breaks off her engagement to Frederick Wentworth (played in the new film by Cosmo Jarvis) and eventually contemplates marriage to her cousin William Elliot played by Henry Golding.
