Radstock Town FC would like to announce that manager, Nathan Farquharson, has stepped down from his role.
Nathan resigned earlier in the week after realising that the increasing demands of heading up a successful business, managing a Western League club and his coaching work with Bristol City were impacting too much on his family life and understandably, he felt that he could not allow that to continue and something had to change.
Club Chairman, Simon Wilkinson, was disappointed to receive the news but was fully understanding and supportive of Nathan's decision to put family before football. He wanted it known that the club were incredibly grateful to Nathan for the work he did in keeping the club together during the lockdown and wished him well for the future.
The club has moved quickly to find a replacement and is pleased to announce that, fans favourite, Ryan Child has agreed to become the club's new manager and he is going to be assisted by Tom Pawley, who is returning to the club as a player / assistant manager from Warminster Town where he has been playing recently.
The Chairman said that he was "very pleased and excited to have Ryan and Tom in charge of the side and believed that their rapport with the players and fans will be a big asset in their quest to bring success to the club".
