Whitstone's award-winning fish and chip shop is re-opening tomorrow (July 17) after a high tech renovation which should also serve up much faster service.

The team at the shop were putting the finishing touches to the new fryer and system today, ready for re-opening Saturday.

Whitstone's Traditional Fish and Chips will still be using an order and wait system, but that wait should be much less now they have greater capacity thanks to the new work stations. You can also telephone in orders on 01761 416948

The fish and chip shop closed on July 11.

Owners Emma and Lee Swain have been running the Westfield site for six years, and regularly get voted the best fish and chip shop in the area. They hope that the big investment in a new set of fryers and bigger capacity, will allow them to make orders more quickly, but will continue to focus on quality fish and chips from their family-led firm.
