Two of the oldest football sides in the UK have a Christmas cracker of a local match this Boxing Day


The pitch at Welton Rovers is ready for their annual Boxing Day local Derby against RadstockTown FC.
In spite of recent downpours, a dry crisp Christmas Day means the pitch is perfect for the match their traditional Boxing Day clash with a 1:30pm kick off.
The tea hut will be open, for hot and soft drinks, and other foods, but the bar and club is closed due to Tier 2 coronavirus restrictions.
Welton Rovers are five times Tool Station Western League champions and its longest serving club, having been established 1887.
