West of England Combined Authority Committee and the West of England Joint Committee next meeting is in Midsomer Norton

The next meeting of the West of England Combined Authority Committee will take place in Midsomer Norton Town Hall on Friday 1 July at 1pm with the Metro Mayor and the leaders of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council. The Chair of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership will be there as a non-voting member. This will be followed by a meeting of the Joint Committee at 3pm which will additionally be attended by North Somerset Council's leader. 

Members of the public can present submitted statements at both meetings.Up to 30 minutes will be available for statements.

Both meetings will be live-streamed and be available to view afterwards on the West of England Combined Authority's YouTube channel.

The Metro Mayor has recently been pushing ahead with his Leaders Award student engineering competition.

Dan Norris was recently at the University of the West of England to launch the Leaders Award student engineering competition South West final.
